Your promotion
These terms apply when a provider pays Activity Atlas to promote a public offer. They supplement the Terms for Providers.
Before payment, we show the promotion fee, duration and an estimate of eligible local users. The fee is for promoting your offer on Activity Atlas. It is separate from your provider subscription and any payment a customer makes to you.
The estimate counts eligible accounts at that time. It is not a guarantee of delivery, views, claims, attendance or bookings. People may change their notification choices, and device settings or connectivity can prevent a phone alert. Nearby discovery can also be viewed by other users.
Launch and payment
You can prepare and save offers before paid promotions open. Saving a draft is free. Payment cannot start while launch charging is disabled or the eligible audience estimate is zero.
The workspace owner reviews the quote and accepts these terms before opening Stripe Checkout. A pending checkout retains its original quote. We record payment and publish only after receiving verified payment confirmation. Returning from Checkout alone does not publish an offer.
The promotion period begins when payment is confirmed and the offer is published. Payment opens on your offer's start date, and your offer must remain valid for the full quoted period. You can save a future offer as a draft. The promotion is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Disabling new promotions does not cancel an existing checkout or paid promotion.
If payment is received but the offer cannot be published, it is held for review. Contact support through Activity Atlas for a full refund of that unpublished promotion. An authorised administrator can issue that refund. Refund processing is handled by Stripe; we do not promise an immediate bank credit.
For other cancellation or refund requests, contact support. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Your offer and customers
You are responsible for the benefit, eligibility, availability, dates, exclusions and redemption terms you publish. State the essential terms in the offer itself. You may add a public HTTPS link to supporting information or a PDF; it does not replace those essential terms.
Public offer placements are labelled as sponsored offers. Announcements about a connected activity must be operational updates, not a way to avoid paying for public promotion or bypass users’ promotional notification choices.
For a discount offer, eligible signed-in users can obtain a code to present to your team. The team checks the code and confirms its use once. A separate eligible person may obtain a separate code through the same account. Eligibility is self-confirmed; the code is not proof of identity or age. Children’s names and dates of birth are not collected for offer codes.
Free-trial offers use the activity’s available trial booking flow. Claiming a discount code does not reserve a place. Customers arrange any payment directly with the provider; Activity Atlas does not collect customer payments for these activities or events in V1.
Offers stop appearing in promotion when the paid period ends, the offer expires, availability is exhausted or the underlying listing becomes ineligible. A code already issued remains usable until its displayed expiry unless the offer is withdrawn. We may restrict or withdraw misleading, unsafe or unauthorised content under the Acceptable Use Policy.
App updates and records
Activity alerts are app-only. A shared message is stored once, with a separate inbox/read record for each recipient. Optional phone push delivery depends on the user’s notification permissions and choices. No activity-alert email is sent.
See our Privacy Policy for information about account records, notification preferences and payments.
